Our First Peruvian coffee in quite some time! This beautiful Yellow Caturro from producer Felipe Estela comes from the high-elevation coffee-growing region of Cajamarca in northern Peru. Grown at 2,000–2,100 meters and washed to highlight its natural character, this is a bright and expressive coffee with a wonderfully sweet, silky profile.

In the cup, look for peach, green apple and blackberry and a lingering, syrupy finish. The combination of delicate fruit and rich sweetness makes this a particularly enjoyable coffee for those who love coffees that are vibrant, nuanced, and sweet.

Felipe Estela is a respected coffee producer and regional leader in Cutervo, where he was among the first to establish coffee production. He is also part of El Morito, a multigenerational family project that became a formal association in 2022, helping connect small producers with the infrastructure and markets needed to bring exceptional coffees like this one to the world.
