Donation Guidelines for Zoka Coffee Company

Coffeehouses are about community. That’s the whole reason they were invented and still thrive in our culture today. As part of the communities we serve, we at Zoka believe that giving back is important. We love to support Local 501(c)(3) organizations, youth school auctions & sports teams and good works in the communities near our cafes and our roastery.

We have a few simple guidelines to follow for requesting donations.

We give top priority to non-profit 501(c)(3) organizations operating in Western Washington. Secondarily, we support schools and youth organizations within 5 miles of our cafe locations and our roastery.

We accept requests via email only. We need 30 days to process requests and we limit donations to one per year, per organization. We do not donate cash. We do not donate to raffles.

For donations, we offer roasted coffee (12oz retail packages and/or 5lb bulk packages), coffee gift subscriptions, gift cards to our website and cafe, and gift boxes. We have an annual donation budget and once that is exhausted for the year, we cease donations until the following January 1.

• Your website URL
• A quick note about the good works you are doing in the community
• The event or opportunity you are requesting donation support for
• The request you’d like us to fulfill
• The timing of your event and expected attendance
