More About Tatoosh

We have developed this blend of dark roast coffees that include both Naturally processed coffees as well as Washed processed coffees from Africa, Indonesia and South America.

The strawberry and black cherry like flavors of the Naturals combine with the chocolaty overtones of South America. Combining those with the bold bodied coffees from Sumatra results in an interesting combination that make this a truly great dark roast coffee.

This blend is Zoka's #3 top seller.  

The Name Tatoosh comes from the Tatoosh Mountain Range in Mount Rainier National Park in Washington State. The Native American name means Nourishing Beast and was one of our early blends created in our first store near Green Lake.

Best coffee you will ever taste

While our adventure to our cruise we stayed at the Edgewater hotel. One morning we had breakfast in the restaurant and the coffee omg the aurora was so pleasant and the taste was unbelievable. We kept asking our waitress what coffee they used and she when and brought out a bag for us to see the name and brand they used. Needless to say we had to have some of it in our home. Two thumbs up for taste and smell

Tatoosh is complex, confident and unforgettable.

Dark cocoa meets ripe strawberry—bold, layered, and bursting with character. A cup worth savoring slowly. I have reordered a couple of times and highly recommend you do too.

A clean, bold taste

i love getting up on a spring morning and having a cup of “my Tatoosh”. it’s a bold taste, but it also has a brightness that adds a second layer to the experience. Because i have a subscription, the coffee on my shelf is always fresh. And that makes a huge difference in how good Zoka’s coffee tastes. Thank you Zoka!
