Welcome our newest release from Los Angeles Farm in Costa Rica.  This coffee is a Mocha variety that went through a Honey process and then was light roasted by our team.  We taste notes of stone fruit including plum, apricot and cherry.  

We build long-term relationships with Farmers and select the best coffees available from their harvests year after year. On one of our recent visits to see the team at Los Angeles, including Farm Owner Ricardo Calderon Madrigal, we made this video.

A Shot with Flavor

I rarely buy single origin coffees or light roasts because I am an amateur home espresso maker and I just have better luck with blends and medium to dark roasts. Let’s just say they cover my mistakes well. But the Costa Rica Los Angeles surprises me— it was light but had full body and a deep flavor profile with a hint of sweetness at the end. The beans went quickly leaving me inspired to try more, whether my skills improve or not!
