I think the coffee is really nice although I have to admit the feedback will be mores about Zika.

I found the company very responsive and customer service great. One of the shipped packs was slightly damaged and I got replacement immediately.

The packaging is really well designed; not inly is resealable but it also protects from light compared to several others I used. The coffee I am still experimenting with different methods. I just recently (few months ago) discovered and ventured into the finer coffee, got my Elektra MCaL espresso machine, new grinder, tamper etc etc. So still early in my home barista journey. I grew up - like many - on sub-par quality coffee and preparation - just getting used to nuances and more floral/fruity varietals.

A really good Kenya in the classic mode found in some of the Scott Labs 28 and 34 examples. The green however does seem to have just a touch of age type character, maybe due to less than ideal shipping conditions? I would also prefer a slightly lighter roast degree, but that is personal preference only, and not anything that can be seen as a negative per se.

BTW, I made a blend of 70% of this Kenya and 30% of your Guatemala Red Pache and found it to be one of the blends that is, happily, more than the sum of its parts. Give it a try!

I was a bit worried when I opened the bag and was greeted with a dark malty scent I would normally associate with a Dark roast vs a light. The beans have a unique texture and very dark color, which made me think the roasting process went awry. Even after grinding, I was worried that the roast was going to taste dark and extremely bitter or worse burnt, however after brewing the resulting coffee had a pleasant, light roast quality and amazing flavor. Give it a try, it is a top-notch bean that makes an amazing cup of coffee.
