This beautiful lot comes to us from producer Mustefa Abasadi, farming in the Agaro region of Jimma, Ethiopia. Mustefa has long contributed to some of Ethiopia’s most celebrated cooperative coffees, but recently gained his own export license—allowing him to share his coffee directly with roasters like Zoka. The result is a cup that is both distinctly Ethiopian and uniquely his own.
Jimma, nestled in Ethiopia’s Oromia region, is home to some of the country’s most vibrant coffee landscapes. Here, smallholder farmers cultivate high-elevation heirloom varieties that produce lively, complex coffees. Mustefa’s dedication to quality and innovation has made him a standout producer, helping to shape the next chapter of Ethiopian specialty coffee.
In the cup, expect a sparkling strawberry & rhubarb brightness balanced with delicate caramel sweetness and a soft finish—an elegant representation of Ethiopian coffee at its finest.
This release is a celebration of Ethiopia’s deep coffee heritage and the new opportunities for farmers to showcase their work directly. We’re thrilled to share it with you.
