"Ethiopia is The Birth Place of Coffee, making it one of my favorite coffee trip destinations. It's a fascinating place with a culture surrounded in coffee. Some of the most exotic and complex flavors from coffee are natural to the coffees of Ethiopia." Jeff Babcock, Zoka Founder/CEO

Cupping score 88
I taste more or less 20 different coffees every month, coffees from all over the world. This was one of the top three Ethiopian coffees I tasted in the first half of 2022, earning cupping score of 88. What I like about this one is bright tartness (I don't like to use the term "acidity" when I describe coffee flavor) and fruity sweetness like Bing cherry combined with medium body of nutty quality. I paired it with non-sugar apple pie.
