El Salvador Malacara B

This year's Malacara B Yellow Bourbon is a silky cup with a sweet profile of cranberry, cantaloupe and green grape and comes from the same Cup of Excellence®-winning farm that we've worked with for many years running. 

Malacara B Farm started in 1888 (yes, 130 years ago!) and is located on the northern slope of the Santa Ana volcano. Great soil and a misty climate make it an ideal area for growing coffee.   

Yellow Bourbon is a tall variety, characterized by relatively low production but excellent quality in the cup. Ripe cherries are yellow and yield a lot of sweetness. Delicious coffee and from an exceptional multi-generation coffee family to boot.... This roast is a keeper. 

Cupping Notes: Cranberry, cantaloupe, blackberry and green grape.  Light roasted.
