Organic Decaf Espresso Quatro Coffee
Decaf Organic Espresso Quatro is roasted to our Espresso Roast giving it a slightly smokier flavor than the rest of our decaffeinated coffees. Though intended for use in an espresso machine, Decaf Organic Espresso Quatro is an excellent coffee for slow brewing in a filter-drip device or a French press, especially for decaf lovers looking for a slightly darker roasted coffee. The blend of soft Indonesian beans gives Decaf Organic Espresso Quatro a hearty, earthy flavor with subtle nuances of leather, tobacco, and herbal aromas. While not overly aggressive in milk, the blend will cut through enough to make itself known, and is also extremely enjoyable as a straight shot of espresso.

The Swiss Water Process™ is a certified organic, chemical-free method used for decaffeinating coffee. Green coffee is first soaked in water to release flavors and solubles that also contain caffeine. This liquid is then passed through a series of carbon filters, which work to filter out caffeine. The coffee is then “recharged” with this flavorful liquid and dried for market.
