Zoka Coffee

Guatemala Finca el Limonar

Notes of  grapefruit and fig with a creamy and buttery mouth feel. The farm of Finca El Limonar (“The Lemontree”) lies close to the Mexican border in mountainous Guatemalan region of Huehuetenango. The farm avoids using chemical herbicides where possible, instead weeds are removed by hand using a machete. El Limonar has a wet mill on site, where treatment tanks are used to purify and recycle the waste water in order to avoid polluting the many local rivers and streams. Left over coffee pulp is then recycled as a fertilizer for young plants.

Testimonials

“I've always been so impressed with your baristas and their artistry” — Christine

“Among the top coffee shops in Seattle; Zoka knows coffee, roasts coffee, and brews coffee like very few other companies in the world.”

Hands down one of the best coffee shops in Seattle! My friend and I grab a mocha from here before we walk Greenlake. Their mocha is my drink of choice but their coffee in general is delicious! Great atmosphere and good drinks.” — Azrakh (5 Star Review from Yelp.com)

“Absolutely. AMAZING. COFFEE! Oh my gosh. The most fabulous coffee hands down. Plus, many of their staff are supremely knowledgeable about the bean and its mysteries.” — Joshua (5 Star Yelp.com Review)
