Grind 26 grams of coffee on a fine setting. The overall consistency should be finer than the average drip but coarser than espresso.

Place paper filter into the V60 and rinse with hot water. This will wash away loose paper fibers. Discard the rinse water.

Pour just enough water over the grounds to evenly saturate them. 35 grams should do. Let bloom for 30 seconds before continuing.

Begin pouring consistently in a steady clockwise motion. Ridges on the inside of the cone help to keep water from pooling in the middle and act as a guide that you should follow.

You want to fill at a constant speed, not take too long, too fast. Overall brew time should take two and a half minutes. Finish pouring water at 360 grams (just under 16 oz) and let drain fully.
