Brewing Oolong Tea

Tools: Assam Press Pot, Spoon, Tea, Hot Water, Timer 

1. Preheating

Fill your tea pot and tea cups with boiling water to preheat all apparatus.

2. Preparation

Discard the pre-heating water from your tea pot, then place the tea leaves into your tea pot basket.

3. Brewing and Extraction

Pour boiling water over the leaves in the basket, and steep for the time recommended for your tea (*you can find our steep times listed with each tea that we offer).

4. Serve

Serve the brewed liquor by alternating pours from cup to cup until the tea pot is empty, you may save the oolong leaves for further brewing.
